As well as supporting our regular clients we are available to accompany you to one off appointments, such as trips to the doctors, hospital or hairdresser. We can also accompany you for one off trips out. For example to the theatre.

Transparent Pricing
People need different levels of support for different lengths of time. As part of our consultation we will work with you to determine what works best for you to meet your personal needs as cost effectively as possible. With many other care providers, they will only discuss pricing as part of the assessment process. Here at Aurora Care just give us a call or send us an email and we will let you know our hourly rates up front so you can think about costs before the consultation. For example, for Companionship visits during the week we only charge £29 per hour. There is no VAT payable for care.
Companions Matched to You
We are not a traditional Care Agency. Each of us is unique. We have different hobbies and different values. When we visit for a free consultation we take time to find out about you, not just your care needs. We match you with a companion that you enjoy spending time with and make sure they visit as often as possible. If we introduce you to someone that you do not want to visit we will find someone else. We are certain you will find someone you love to spend time with.
No Uniform
At Aurora we feel that uniforms create barriers. If you are out and about with one of our companions then, apart from an ID badge, it will not be obvious that you are working with a care agency. Even in the home, providing personal care, we feel that being helped by someone in comfortable everyday clothing will make the experience much warmer. Personal care is not something anybody would wish to have. At Aurora Community Care we will do everything we can to ensure it is as good as it can be. Of course, our Care Givers, are always wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure the best possible safety and hygiene.
Community Engagement
We actively engage with the community to raise awareness about health and well-being. We are not just here for our clients. We are here for their family members so that your time together is doing warm things and making great memories. We are also here to support the wider communities of Worthing, Lancing, Steyning, Storrington and Goring-by-Sea
Care Givers Directly Employed by us
All our staff are employed directly by Aurora Community Home Care. We pay them directly and we manage their tax and National Insurance. When our Care Givers are off sick, or on holiday, then we manage your replacements. Our Care Givers are all insured to provide Domiciliary Care in your home, and they are trained to the highest standards. We hope you will have no concerns, but if you do then you can be assured that we are regulated by the Care Quality Commission for all the Personal Care that we provide. If we are unable to resolve your problems then you can escalate your complaint with peace of mind.
