Ask us a question
01What does personal care at home include?

Personal care can include washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, continence care, oral care, skincare and safe mobility. Your care plan sets out exactly what you want help with and how you prefer that support to be given.

02Can personal care visits include other support?

Yes. Where it has been agreed in the care plan, the same visit may include medication support, preparing a meal or drink, light household tasks and a wellbeing check. We will help you shape visits around the person’s real routine.

03Will I see familiar Care Givers?

We plan for continuity wherever possible because familiar faces make personal care feel more comfortable. A small, well-matched team also gets to know the person’s routine, preferences and the little details that matter.

04How do you protect dignity and choice?

We ask before we help, explain what is happening and encourage the person to do whatever they can safely manage themselves. Privacy, cultural preferences, communication needs and personal routines are all recorded in the care plan.

05How long is a personal care visit?

Visit length depends on the support needed. We do not squeeze a person’s routine into a standard package; after a free consultation we recommend enough time for care to feel calm, safe and unhurried.

06Where do you provide care at home?

Aurora provides personal care in Worthing and nearby communities across the Sussex coast, including Goring, Shoreham-by-Sea, Lancing, Findon, Steyning, Storrington, Rustington, East Preston and Littlehampton.
